El Programa de Investigaci\u00f3n del <a href=\"https:\/\/research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu\/funding\/funding-opportunities\/funding-programmes-and-open-calls\/research-fund-coal-and-steel-rfcs_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fondo de Investigaci\u00f3n del Carb\u00f3n y del Acero (RFCS)<\/a> es un programa de financiaci\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n Europea que apoya la investigaci\u00f3n y la innovaci\u00f3n en los sectores del carb\u00f3n y del acero.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>El Programa de Investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en consonancia con los objetivos pol\u00edticos, cient\u00edficos y tecnol\u00f3gicos de la Uni\u00f3n, y complementa las actividades realizadas en los Estados miembros y dentro del actual Programa Marco de la Uni\u00f3n para acciones de investigaci\u00f3n, desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico y demostraci\u00f3n (\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/funding-tenders\/find-funding\/eu-funding-programmes\/horizon-europe_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horizonte Europa<\/a>\u2019). Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 en consonancia con los objetivos pol\u00edticos de la UE relacionados con <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/priorities-2019-2024\/european-green-deal_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">El Pacto Verde Europeo<\/a>, \u202fcuyo objetivo es transformar Europa en una econom\u00eda moderna, eficiente en el uso de los recursos y competitiva, sin emisiones netas de gases de efecto invernadero para 2050.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>La descarbonizaci\u00f3n y modernizaci\u00f3n del sector sider\u00fargico es esencial para este objetivo.
